Privacy Policy

We keep as little as we can. This page says what we store, what we never store, and who helps us run the service.

The free tools

The QR generator, the scanner and the other free tools run on your device. What you type never leaves your device. We do not receive your links, Wi-Fi details, contacts or scanned images.

What we never store

  • No IP addresses. We do not store the IP address of anyone who visits the site or scans a code.
  • No tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in. They belong to this site only and are never sent to the redirect domain.

Site analytics

We measure site traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.

What we store for accounts

  • Your email address.
  • Your dynamic codes and the destinations you set for them.
  • Aggregate scan counts by day, device type and country. We do not record who scanned.
  • If you report a code: the code, the category and details you give, and your email only if you choose to add it.

Who helps us

  • Stripe handles payments. We do not see or store your card details.
  • Google Web Risk checks destination URLs for harmful sites when a code is created or edited, and again on a schedule.
  • Amazon SES sends our emails, such as your sign-in link.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that sign-in and report forms are sent by a person. It runs only on those forms.
  • If you choose to sign in with Google, Google confirms your email address to us.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your account settings. We warn you first, because your printed codes will stop working. Deleting cancels your subscription, stops every code for good, and removes your email, name, profile picture, sign-in sessions and linked sign-in accounts.

We keep a record of each deleted code, with no link to you: its short ID, its last destination and its daily scan counts. This stops a short ID from ever being reused and keeps abuse reports traceable. We also keep the record of your past subscription for our payment records.
