Free QR codes that never expire

A static code holds your content directly. There is no subscription behind it, so there is nothing that can lapse.

Encoded directly into the code. We add https:// if you leave it off.

Why a static code has no expiry date

Some free generators hand you a short link that they redirect, then switch it off after a trial. That is a dynamic code in disguise. A code made here encodes your actual link or text, so scanning it never involves our servers. It will keep working for as long as the printed pattern is clean and the page it points to stays online. That second part is yours to look after, so link to something you control.

Questions

What is the catch?

Static codes cannot be edited or tracked. Whatever you encode is fixed once printed. If you need to change the destination later, that is what dynamic codes are for.

What could still make a free code stop working?

The page it links to going offline, a damaged or faded print, or too little contrast with the background. The code itself does not time out.

Do I need an account to download?

No. There is no sign-up, and your input is never uploaded.
